On Thursday, October 31st, we will celebrate reading with an exciting school-wide literacy parade! We encourage all students to participate by wearing a costume that represents their favorite storybook character.
Please Note: This is not a Halloween celebration, so we ask that you follow these guidelines:
- NO costumes of a violent nature
- NO masks
- NO "look-alike" knives, swords, or weapons
Our focus is on the joy of reading! If possible, please have your child bring the book that corresponds with their costume.
The Literacy Parade will kick off at 1:15 PM. We can’t wait to see all the amazing characters and celebrate the love of reading together!
