Good morning, Bellevue Community,

We were thrilled to welcome back our Bellevue Elementary School scholars today! It was wonderful to see everyone back in the building for the 2026-27 school year.

Please see below for updates on the status of the building and transportation moving forward.

Facilities

  • Air Quality Testing: Room 201 received clearance for use following yesterday’s testing and is eligible for reoccupation. Test results are attached.

    • Rooms 304 and 305 will need additional remediation. Please note that all remediation will take place only outside school hours, and the rooms will remain sealed off and unused until they pass air quality tests. 

  • Humidity: Relative humidity levels have remained low, with this morning’s readings between 44% and 46%. 

    • Humidity levels below 60% inhibit mold growth, so maintaining very low humidity is an important part of our defense against recurrence. 

  • Ongoing Monitoring: We will continue to monitor temperature and humidity daily, and air quality will be tested monthly.

Transportation

  • Status: A return to regular bus routes has begun for the start of school today.

Communication

  • Please note that we will move to once daily updates at 5:00 pm until remediation is completed.
