PM Update
Good afternoon, Bellevue Community,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Please see below for the latest updates.
Facility Updates:
-
Occupancy: Rooms 304 and 305 underwent additional remediation beginning this past Friday, September 11.
-
Room 305 is cleared for re-occupancy. Note that air quality test results indicated that Room 305 was safe for re-occupancy on September 9 due to indoor air samples that showed results at and below outdoor air quality. Out of an abundance of caution, we provided additional cleaning to Room 305.
Test results are attached.
We are still awaiting air quality test results for Room 304.
Work is scheduled entirely outside of school hours to avoid disrupting normal activities. Both rooms will remain completely sealed off and unused until full air quality clearance is received.
-
-
Humidity: Indoor humidity levels across the building remain exceptionally low, between the range of 45%–47% (well below the 60% threshold required to prevent mold growth).
Maintaining these very low humidity levels serves as a primary line of defense against future microbial growth.
-
Ongoing Remediation and Monitoring: The HVAC system throughout the building has filters that continue to clean the air and trap particulates. Circulation fans have been kept off to reduce air movement between rooms. We will continue to monitor the air coming through this system, including adding additional HEPA filters, prior to reactivating the circulation fan at a later date.
As with any older building, we will continue to explore possible sources of moisture to reduce the risk of recurrence.
Communication Updates:
Our next email update will come at 5:00 pm on Monday, September 14.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership!
With great appreciation,
Jason
